Presenting the dootle.
A dootle is a small crooked wood pipe. You blow through one end and hope something musical happens.
Dootles are traditionally made from crooked branches of the snufflenut tree but can also be made using hollow twigs, roots and other natural substances.
They are used for merry songs, calling across the woods and to prank people if you get a tooter type. No two dootles sound the same.
Some sound like a bird, others will make a slight fart sound and some will just go doot.
Dootles can also lift the mood and ambience of a place.
They can also bring everyone to tears
Use your dootle wisely.
This is for one natural coloured dootle.
You can wrap thread around the end and wayfolk can wear it around their necks.
*please note these dootles don’t actually play
