COME AND JOIN THE RUMPUS

Deep in the crooked wood, is a little crooked house with a little crooked roof and amber wonky windows that glow long before the sun has risen and long after it has gone to bed. This is the house of mothiwumpus! Where laughter dances down the hallways and songs drift from open windows. Peculiar little creatures are forever wandering in and nobody seems quite sure who lives there or who is just staying for a while. It is said that the house has a habit of welcoming those who arrive weary, lost or simply in need of somewhere to belong. Whether the house found them, or they found the house, nobody can seem to agree.

Beyond the little garden gate lies the crooked wood. At first it appears like any other woodland but if you stay a while you’ll notice that the bark carries the faintest wash of plum as though twilight settled into the trees long ago and never left. The paths bend where they please and the indigo moss grows thick. There are traditions that everybody follows without question (even though they aren’t really sure why)

Remember to leave a button upon the listening stones. Thank the Grimmcap mushrooms if they shelter you from the rain.
If the birds fall silent all at once you MUST stand still for a moment as something of ancient memory is passing you by.

Nobody knows how these rules first came to be but everybody agrees that its best not to argue with the wood.

The house and the wood have lived beside one and other for longer than anyone remembers. The wood is silent and full of old stories while the house is loud and warm and forever making new ones.

Perhaps thats why they suit each other so well. For every long walk beneath the crooked branches, there is always a bowl of soup to come home to. The house has never cared much about where you’ve come from, only that you’ve found your way there.

ALEX aka PRINTER

The printer of blooms. The eater of foods. Lover of bald men. The sleep texter and meme lord of discord. Alex is responsible for all of the printing, processing and curing of your blooms each month! He gets easily hangry and gets egged by bee munchers regularly whilst spilling tea that he should not. The true king of spoilers.

FEE

The Bloom Overlord, resident crybaby and overly excitable gremlin. Fee does a lot of the designing of blooms with Chelsea and creates all of the bloomling faces. She also works very closely with Confetti, organising orders to go out to bee munchers over the world. Gets easily distracted and drinks too much tea. Fee handles social media, website, customer service and is always behind the camera (but never in front of it)

MELLY & ROSA

Curators of tiny clothes, shoes and other bits and pieces. Melly is Fee’s Brother and met Rosa (who is a former bee muncher) on our communtiy minecraft server, now theyre married! Our own Mothiwumpus love story!

CHELSEA

Lover of breathing eggs, creative cryptid who seems to know a whole lot about virtually everything. Chelsea helps the ideas come to life and is responsible for all the fancy jointing and things of a technical nature. She does concept work as well, turning fee’s absolute jibberish into something tangible and slightly more sensical. Mad Hatter and pet creator extraordinare.

MAMA FRAPP & STEP-PAPA FRAPP

Mama Frapp, emotional support mother hen, tea maker and paperwork princess. Helps Fee and Alex when they can’t function. Makes a bajillion tiny eyes for all the babies. Step-papa Frapp helps with all the elastic, magnets and wig kit packaging whilst trying to put up with everyone elses chaos.
