Day 29 ✷The Prismorin (Oom Deep & Peep Inside)
Oom Deep and Peep Inside are our first Prismorin! A mountain cave dwelling species with crystalline parts.
It feels like we’ve been talking about this species for so long! Its so nice for them to show themselves for the fair!
They will have a tail in time but do not come with one. They do come with crystal horns and inner crystal ear shards.
You can select your gummy colour pack and face when you add to cart - its a pop up (not sold separately at this time)
THEY ARE SOCK SIZE
All of our products are sold in kit form. These crystals have been spray glossed. Yours wont be and will be matte but you can gloss them for extra transparency, glow and shine!

The mountains of little elsewhere are very very old. Much much MUCH Older than the oldest wayfolk and far older than even the most crooked trees in the crooked wood.
The mountains look like the ground has launched itself upwards as though trying to escape something underneath. Legend has it that the ground was running from a great beast. The locals joke it was running from Wicketty on rent day but of course, the mountains of 'far too high' are far older than he is.
Massive purple jagged things full of holes tower above the western maple grove, the wind currents blow through them and howl at the moon at night. And it is here where the Prismorin live. Or maybe the mountain is made of Prismorin?
They are odd and nocturnal little creatures with crystals that grow from places that most wayfolk prefer to keep their thoughts. Sometimes formations will creep and grow spontaneously into things a Prismorin might be holding.
One time, Oom Deep had his spoon crystalise in seconds. Shards sparked from the surface and into his bowl of porridge. It was of course, inedible after that. (That would perhaps be considered cannibalism and Prismorin don't eat their kind) They do however enjoy collecting plates and cups, especially if they have chips in them.
Beneath the mountains are giant caverns full to the brim with weird, glowing, mineral teeth. Prismorin move between them in little processions, carrying offerings (including cracked plates) to leave between the nooks. Outsiders are unsure of what they are feeding. Do the prismorin even know? What we do know is that they have come to refer to whatever 'it' is as Granny.
Due to being cave dwelling creatures, The prismorin have very delicate eyes and are very sensitive to the sun. You won't often see them venture out into the world but if you do, it'll often be in late nocturne (autumn) or during the long sleep (winter)
They're relatively clumsy as a species but very hardworking and incredibly good at cleaning up. (convenient because the mountains of far too high are always making a mess) They are also incredibly skilled with percussive instruments and the acoustics inside the mountain mean that the valleys below can often hear echoes of rhythmic banging, especially deep into the night. CLONK BUNG THRUM BING. BOOF. BOOF. BOOF.
You will rarely find Prismorin on their own. They are definitely a herd species, prefering company of their own kind. To outsiders they may appear shy but it's just because they aren't that used to socialising with others. When they occasionally do, however they have a great time!!
